The Public Hearing Committee heard a proposal for a sand and gravel pit at 364 St. John’s Road East in Simcoe, known as the Kelly Pit. Committee members asked questions about traffic, noise, job creation, and how the land would be restored for agricultural use after extraction. No public comments were made, and the committee received the report as information. A final decision will be made by Norfolk County Council at a future meeting.
