Notice of passing of Municipal-wide development charges by-law

TAKE NOTICE that Norfolk County Council passed Development Charges By-law No. 2026-94 on September 22, 2026, pursuant to section 2(1) of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O. 1997, c. 27, as amended.

AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or organization may appeal the by-law to the Ontario Land Tribunal under section 14 of the Act by filing a notice of appeal with the Clerk of Norfolk County on or before November 1, 2026. The notice of appeal must set out the objection to the by-law and the reasons supporting the objection.

The development charges established by the by-law will come into effect on July 1, 2027. The applicable development charge rates are set out in Schedule B of By-law No. 2026-94.
