Norfolk County seeks public input on Waterford’s Mechanic Street West corridor
Norfolk County is inviting residents, trail and road users to share their feedback as part of the Mechanic Street West Corridor Review.
The review was initiated in response to concerns about traffic and road safety along Mechanic Street West in Waterford. Community feedback will help Norfolk County better understand how people experience the corridor and identify opportunities to improve safety and comfort for all users.
Get involved
Residents, trails, and road users are invited to share feedback on the Mechanic Street West Corridor Review. Visit EngageNorfolk.ca/MechanicStreet to learn more about the project and use the interactive map to drop a pin and share comments about your traffic and road safety experiences while using the corridor to drive, walk, run, or cycle.
Participants are encouraged to provide feedback on topics such as vehicle speeds, pedestrian safety, crossing locations, sidewalks, accessibility, visibility, as well as ideas for improvements or enhancements.
Information collected through the engagement process will be reviewed alongside technical data and traffic studies to help inform future recommendations for the corridor.
