Norfolk County reopens bulk water depot in Port Dover

Norfolk County will reopen the bulk water depot located at the Port Dover Water Tower, 135 Hamilton Plank Road, effective Monday, December 1.

The reopening of this facility allows contractors and water haulers to resume using the depot to access water. Users can continue to access the depot through the existing bulk water kiosk system.

The depot has been closed during upgrades at the Port Dover Water Treatment Plant. While work was underway, the plant operated on a temporary system with limited capacity, requiring restrictions that included closing the depot. During this time, water haulers could access Norfolk County’s other depots in Simcoe, Waterford, Delhi, and Port Rowan.

Norfolk County remains committed to providing safe, accessible, and reliable water services for all residents and system users
