Norfolk County receives Hydro One grant to support emergency preparedness

Norfolk County has received $25,000 through the Hydro One Community Partnership Grant program to support emergency preparedness and public safety. 
 
The funding will support improvements to how Norfolk County shares emergency information with residents and visitors during significant weather events and other emergencies. 
 
Grant funding will be used to purchase a portable changeable message sign that can be deployed throughout the community to provide real-time information about road closures, detours, public safety notices and emergency situations. 

Norfolk County thanks Hydro One for supporting projects that help strengthen emergency preparedness and community resilience.
