Norfolk County opening new disc golf course at Wind-Del Park

Norfolk County is pleased to announce the opening of a new disc golf course at Wind-Del Park.

To celebrate, a Grand Opening Event will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the park, located at 3178 Regional Road 25, Windham Centre, Ontario. The first 20 attendees will receive a Norfolk County-branded putter disc, and all attendees can enter a draw for a full set of PDGA-approved glow-in-the-dark discs made from recycled plastic.

The course features nine holes, each with two tee-off locations to accommodate a range of skill levels. Short tees offer a family-friendly experience, while long tees provide a more competitive option for experienced players.

This is a natural-style course, meaning it uses the existing landscape and does not include concrete tee pads. Fall is the perfect time to try this sport and enjoy the vibrant colours Wind-Del Park has to offer.

The course will be listed on UDisc, a widely used disc golf app, allowing players to locate the course, track scores, and engage with the broader disc golf community.

The project was initiated by Norfolk County’s Recreation Team in support of the Mayor’s Round Table priorities, which emphasized creating low-cost recreation options for residents. The course was developed in consultation with disc golf experts from ChainLink Disc Golf, alongside a dedicated group of community members, with support from the Wind-Del Park Committee and the Windham Optimists.
