Norfolk County offers June programs, events, and aquatics activities
Norfolk County is offering a range of programs, events, and seasonal activities throughout June, with opportunities for residents to get active, connect with others, and enjoy local facilities and outdoor spaces.
Across the County, residents can take part in free and low-cost programming, including family activities, fitness opportunities, and community events.
Community Days
Community Days will take place from June 11 to 14, with free activities hosted at community centres, museums, libraries, parks, arenas, and other County facilities.
The four-day event includes family-friendly programming, recreational activities, and opportunities to explore local spaces and services. Information about the full schedule is available at norfolkcounty.ca/CommunityDays.
Parks and Recreation Month activities
As part of Parks and Recreation Month, Norfolk County offers free activities for residents throughout June. Parks and Recreation Month is recognized across Ontario as an opportunity to promote active living and highlight the role that parks and recreation play in supporting healthy, connected communities.
Park Play Days are free outdoor programs that feature games and activities geared to children aged 4 to 10.
All ages are welcome, and parental supervision is required. Park Play Days will take place:
- Saturday, June 6, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at Yin’s Park, Waterford
- Saturday, June 13, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at Sportsplex Park, Langton
- Saturday, June 20, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at Lakeview Park, Port Dover
Free drop-in fitness classes provide instructor-led sessions for residents aged 13 and older. Pre-registration is required. Classes will take place:
- Power Circuit: Tuesdays, June 2 and 16, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Delhi Friendship Centre
- Yoga: Tuesdays, June 9 and 23, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Waterford Community Centre

Seniors Month
June is Seniors Month in Ontario, a time to recognize the contributions of older adults and support programs that promote wellness, social connection, and active living.
Norfolk County is hosting free Seniors’ Month BBQ events for residents aged 50 and older, offering opportunities to share a meal, connect with others, and take part in community activities.
Seniors Month BBQs are sponsored by Aspira Cedar Crossing Retirement.
BBQ events will take place on:
- June 8 at the Simcoe Seniors’ Centre
- June 24 at the Delhi Friendship Centre
Registration is required to attend and can be completed at norfolkcounty.ca/encore.
Swimming
The Delhi Kinsmen Pool is now open for the season. The outdoor pool will offer a range of aquatics programming, including recreational swims, family swims, aquafit classes, and swimming lessons for all ages and abilities.

Registration is required for many programs and can be completed online through Norfolk County’s ENCORE recreation system or by contacting Customer Service.
