Norfolk County offers Christmas tree recycling depots this holiday season
Norfolk County will operate Christmas tree recycling depots from December 26, 2025, to January 11, 2026. The service provides multiple drop-off locations across the county to support responsible disposal after the holiday season.
All decorations must be removed before drop-off, and trees must not be placed in plastic bags.
Depot locations
- Courtland Community Centre – 276 Main St of Courtland
- Delhi Bulk Water Depot – 80 Industrial Rd
- Langton Arena – 28 Albert St
- Port Dover – East end of Nelson St
- Port Rowan Community Centre – 14 College Ave
- Simcoe Transfer Station – 164 Fourteenth St*
- Simcoe Operations Yard – 8 Schellburg Ave
- South Walsingham Transfer Station – 1180 Concession Road 3*
- Walsh Sand Dome – 984 Charlotteville Rd 7
- Waterford Heritage & Agricultural Museum – 159 Nichol St
Simcoe Transfer Station and South Walsingham Transfer Station will follow regular business hours and observe holiday closures on December 25, 26 and January 1. Christmas trees left at the curb will not be collected, and firewood and brush will not be accepted at any location.
