Norfolk County celebrates Local Government Week 2025

Norfolk County is proud to join other municipalities across the province in recognizing Local Government Week from October 19 to 25.

This week is a time to recognize the essential role that local government play in shaping communities. From maintaining roads and parks to providing vital services like waste collection and emergency response, municipal governments are at the heart of everyday life. It’s also a chance to acknowledge the dedication of municipal staff and elected officials who work to build a strong, vibrant Norfolk County.
