New Waste Program Updates - Thursday, September 17, 2026
Updated delivery schedule
Waste cart deliveries will continue in Simcoe until Saturday, September 19, 2026. All other areas of Norfolk County should have received their carts.
Missed cart delivery
Property owners who have not received their carts by Monday, September 21, 2026, should submit a missed cart delivery service request. Missed carts will be delivered to properties the week of September 21, 2026.
Broken or damaged cart replacement
Replacement of broken or damaged carts that were submitted by 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, are scheduled for repair on Friday, September 18, 2026.
What you need to do:
- Place your cart at the end of your driveway (curbside) by 7:00 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026.
- Leave the cart accessible throughout the day so staff can complete the repair.
What to expect:
- Staff will visit your property on Friday, September 18, 2026, to repair or replace the damaged part of your cart.
- Once the repair is complete, you may return the cart to its usual storage location.
How to report a broken or damaged cart:
- If your cart was delivered broken or damaged, please submit a damanged/broken cart service request.
- We will complete cart replacements next week.
Incorrect cart delivery
If you requested a grey garbage cart change during the cart request period and received the incorrect size (e.g., you requested the small grey garbage cart and received the standard size), please submit an incorrect cart delivery service request.
