Closed Section of Waterford Heritage now open
Sections of the Waterford Heritage Trail that were closed during the demolition of decommissioned agricultural silos are now open once again.
The trail closure was a safety measure during the demolition of decommissioned agricultural silos at Nichol Street West and McCool Street. The method of demolition used will allow the silos’ granular concrete material to be recycled for other purposes.
Norfolk’s trails and pathways are not maintained during winter months, and surfaces may have a build-up of ice that could pose a risk to walk or ride on.
