All Long Point public beach access points open for 2026 season

All public beach access points in Long Point will remain open for the 2026 beach season, following a spring review by Norfolk County staff.  

The open access points include locations along Woodstock Avenue, Beach Avenue, and Sandy Lane. Norfolk County staff will continue to monitor water levels, erosion, and weather impacts throughout the summer. 

To support public use of Long Point beach, portable washrooms and garbage containers will be installed at beach access points starting on the Victoria Day long weekend. Visit norfolkcounty.ca/Beaches for public beach access points in Long Point. 

Norfolk County reviews beach access conditions each spring and reports back to Council and the public ahead of the summer season.
