Council and Committee Updates

Mayor Amy Martin tabled the draft 2026-2035 Levy Capital Plan today, fulfilling her legislated responsibilities under the Municipal Act.  

Norfolk County has made changes to the schedule for two upcoming Council meetings in November and December.

Norfolk County’s Public Hearing Committee met on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, to hear public input on several planning applications.

Norfolk County Council met on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. The meeting was held in Council Chambers and streamed online.

Norfolk County’s Budget Committee met on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, to review the 2026 Rate-Supported Operating and Capital Budgets. The meeting focused on water and wastewater services, including infrastructure investments, operational efficiencies, and long-term financial planning.

Norfolk County Council met on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, for a Special Council Meeting focused on the Facilities Master Plan.

Norfolk County’s Public Hearing Committee met on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, to hear public input and review planning applications.

Norfolk County Council met on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The meeting included several deputations, staff reports, and discussions on planning applications, infrastructure, and council remuneration.
