Norfolk County residents are reminded not to alter the appearance of fire hydrants to ensure their effectiveness during emergencies.
During their meeting today, Norfolk County Council acknowledged the exceptional contributions of retired farmer and community member Paul DeCloet. During a ceremonial presentation, Mr. DeCloet was formally recognized for his significant donations to the County’s environmental heritage.
On the evening of November 12 into the early hours of November 13, Norfolk County Fire Department responded to five structure fires across three locations, mobilizing resources from seven Norfolk County fire stations and two additional stations from the Brant County Fire Department.
Norfolk County will join Canadians across the country on Remembrance Day, Monday, November 11, 2024, to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served and continue to serve our country during times of war, military conflict, and peace.
