With an interruption to Canada Post services now in effect, Norfolk County encourages all residents to explore digital services and secure automatic payment options for essential services like property tax, utility, and court-related payments to avoid potential mail-related delays.

Norfolk County is committed to maintaining service continuity and minimizing disruptions for residents. Residents and businesses can visit this page for updates or speak to a ServiceNorfolk agent by calling 519-426-5870 or 226-NORFOLK, extension 0.

Property Tax Payments

Regardless of the postal disruption, property owners are still required to make payments by the scheduled tax deadlines, which generally occur on the last business days of March, May, August, and October.

Residents can visit NorfolkCounty.ca/PayTax for alternative payment methods, including online options. Additionally, residents can monitor their property tax account status by creating an account on Norfolk Virtual County Hall at vch.norfolkcounty.ca, and may consider using the Pre-Authorized Payment program to avoid late fees.

Water and Wastewater Payments

Property owners receiving water and wastewater services from the County are reminded that these payments are due as billed, even when there is a delay in receiving the physical bill. To view and pay these bills online, residents are encouraged to sign up for ERTH Solutions at erthsolutions.com.

Provincial Offences Act Payments

The Ontario Court of Justice may consider extending Provincial Offences Act timelines due to the postal disruption. Residents should check NorfolkCounty.ca/provincial-offences-office/#Payment for updates and to access online payment options. Any changes in the mailing of Notices of Fine and Due Dates will be communicated as they become available.
