Water System Pressure Loss in Port Rowan and St. Williams

Disruption:  Water system pressure loss in Port Rowan and St. Williams, including Booth’s Harbour

Reason: Power outage, and water tower out of service due to TideFlex installation

This service is affected: 9 a.m. until approx. 4:30 p.m.

 

  • The power has been restored but is still flickering so the plant continues to run on the gen-set until the power is restored fully.

Lynn Valley Trail

R. Simon Construction of Waterford will be resurfacing six kilometres of the Lynn Valley Trail with limestone screenings commencing on Wednesday, December 8th and will spend four or five days on this project.

 

The trail will be upgraded with this new surface starting at Lynn Valley Road and continuing to the fountain at Lion’s Park in Port Dover. The Blueline Road parking lot will be used as a staging area for equipment and screenings storage and will be closed to the public.

  • Waterford – October 12 – October 22
  • Simcoe – October 18 – November 26

Discoloured water is a normal side effect of cleaning watermains. If you notice discoloured water, simply run your faucet until clear.
