Norfolk County residents and community members are invited to submit an application to serve as a Council-appointed Member of the Norfolk County Police Services Board. The term of the appointment will range from the date of appointment until December 31, 2022.

Qualification

In accordance with Police Services Act section 27(13) a judge, justice of the peace, police officer, or a person who practices criminal law as a defense counsel is ineligible to be appointed to the Board. Also, current member of Council and Norfolk County employee cannot be appointed.

Please Note:  Successful applicants will be required to take the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) Volunteer Compliance Training Program provided through Norfolk County.
