May 27, 2020, Simcoe, ON – Norfolk County has postponed its extended weekend Ride Norfolk service, known as the South Coast Shuttle, for the 2020 season due to COVID-19.
The seasonal, weekend bus service would typically travel to many additional locations that have been impacted by the Province’s emergency orders, including beaches, restaurants, breweries and wineries which cannot currently offer seating.
Regular Ride Norfolk Monday to Friday services will continue to operate.
Additionally, the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit continues to ask potential visitors to put off travelling to the area, in an effort to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 in the community.
