After several days of hard work during harsh winter conditions, Norfolk County crews now have all roads cleared and passable.

Hydro One is working on extensive damage to their infrastructure on the 4th Concession Road Enr between Lower Sideroad and The Fairground Road, and has closed the road in that area as a result.

Norfolk County will lift the Significant Weather Event at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27. The County thanks the community for their patience and understanding over the duration of the winter storm as road crews, emergency teams, and first responders worked to keep the community safe.

Residents are reminded not to shovel, plow or blow snow from residential or commercial properties onto or across the road. This poses a hazard to motorists and is prohibited by the Ontario Highway Traffic Act and County bylaws.
