Norfolk County is pleased to announce that Teresa Olsen will be joining the County as its Municipal Clerk on April 12, 2021.
As Clerk, Teresa will serve as a key member of the County’s senior leadership team as she will oversee legislative matters as well as the by-law function.
“We are very excited to welcome Teresa to Norfolk County,” says CAO Jason Burgess. “She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will serve as a great asset to the organization.”
Olsen has more than 16 years of municipal governance experience in both rural and urban municipalities in Alberta and Ontario – where she held several leading roles including Municipal Clerk, Deputy Clerk and Council Office Manager.
Her most recent role was as Deputy Clerk at the City of Brampton, supporting a population of more than 700,000 and 6,000 employees.
Teresa is a resident of Norfolk County and has been residing in the area for five years and she is excited for the opportunity to contribute to her home community.
