Looking for information on garbage and recycling?
Norfolk County’s 2021 Waste Calendar highlights information on delays, leaf and yard waste collection, household hazardous waste depots and more.
There are a number of ways residents can access the calendar and information.
In April, Norfolk County launched a new mobile app called Recycle Coach. It helps residents keep track of the waste collection schedule and learn more about what items can be recycled. It can be downloaded from the iTunes Store and the Google Play Store, free of charge.
In addition to the Recycle Coach app, there are several other ways residents may access waste information:
- A cut out calendar in the January 14 issue of the Norfolk and Tillsonburg News
- Continual updates through the County’s Facebook and Twitter pages
- Personalized and downloadable calendar at ca/waste using the schedule tool at the top of the page
- An online flipbook of the traditional calendar norfolkcounty.ca/living/garbage-and-recycling/waste-calendar/
For those who do not have internet or cellular access, calendars may be picked up at the Robinson Administration Building in Simcoe or any Norfolk County library once facilities reopen following the province-wide lockdown.
