Norfolk County Council Chambers will reopen to the public effective May 10 for attendance at Board of Health, Public Hearings Committee, Council-in-Committee, and Council meetings during their regularly scheduled meetings on Tuesday of each month.

Meetings will continue to be live-streamed and available on the County’s YouTube channel. Deputations may attend in person. Virtual attendance for deputations may also continue by appointment through the Clerk’s office using the online Deputation request form.

The doors for the County Administration Building, located at 50 Colborne Street, Simcoe, Talbot Street entrance, will be open commencing a half-hour prior to the meeting start time for accessing the Council Chambers. Designated public and media seating will be assigned in the Chambers.

The May 10 meeting will commence with an early closed session – and the doors will open to the public at 3:00 p.m.

All other access points to the County Administration Building will remain closed.

Public attendance at Advisory Committee meetings will be available by appointment through the Clerk’s office.

Residents who require customer service can visit the ServiceNorfolk office at 185 Robinson St., Simcoe weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
