Residents and property owners of Norfolk County will be able to elect representatives for mayor, council, and school board trustees on Monday, October 24.

For those who did not take part in the advanced vote, 14 voting locations – two in each of Norfolk’s seven wards – will be available from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Electors are encouraged to confirm which ward they are located in. The ward breakdown is as follows:

  • Ward 1 – St. Williams, Walsingham, Port Rowan, and area
  • Ward 2 – Langton, Courtland, and area
  • Ward 3 – Delhi, La Salette, Teeterville, and area
  • Ward 4 – Vittoria, Turkey Point, Port Ryerse, Pinegrove, Nixon, and area
  • Ward 5 – Simcoe
  • Ward 6 – Port Dover, Renton, and area
  • Ward 7 – Waterford, Boston, Villa Nova, Wilsonville, and area

Residents must vote at one of the two designated locations in their specific ward, and bring to forms of identification that contain their name and address.

Voting locations are as follows:

  • Ward 1 – Port Rowan Community Centre (14 College Avenue, Port Rowan), St. Williams Community Centre (80 Queen Street, St. Williams)
  • Ward 2 – Langton Community Centre (28 Alberta Street, Langton), Courtland Community Centre (272 Main Street, Courtland)
  • Ward 3 – Delhi German Hall (443 James St., Delhi), Teeterville Fire Station (186 Teeter St., Teeterville)
  • Ward 4 – Vittoria & District Community Centre (35 Oakes Blvd., Vittoria), Lynnville United Church (1418 Windham Road 11, Windham Centre)
  • Ward 5 – Simcoe Legion (200 West St., Simcoe), Emmanuel Bible Church (24 Churchill Circle, Simcoe)
  • Ward 6 – Port Dover Lions Community Centre, (801 St. George St., Port Dover), Grace United Church (18 Chapman St. W, Port Dover)
  • Ward 7 – Waterford Legion (223 Nichol St. W, Waterford), Villa Nova Baptist Church (766 Villa Nova Rd, Waterford)

Unofficial results will begin being posted as votes are tabulated at 8 p.m. and can be found at results.norfolkcounty.ca. Official results will be announced by the Norfolk County Clerk on Tuesday, October 25.
