Norfolk County is pleased to announce that the Annaleise Carr Aquatic Centre will be re-opening on July 26, 2021 with COVID-19 safety protocols in place.

The Centre will be offering a number of its popular programs, including length swims, aquafit and mobility classes, swimming lessons and more. The full programming schedule is available on the Norfolk County website at norfolkcounty.ca/swimming-schedules.

COVID-19 screening will continue along with sanitizing of hands upon arrival. Patrons will need to wear a mask throughout the facility, but not in the water.

Patrons will need to arrive with their bathing suit on or under their clothes and will be directed to the pool deck where they will be assigned a chair to put their personal items.

No change room will be available upon entry, but change rooms will be available after patrons swim. While washrooms will be open for use, showers will remain off-limits until further notice.

“We are excited to finally welcome back swimmers to the Annaleise Carr Aquatic Centre and are looking forward to safely resuming the programming we know is so valued by our community,” said Nikki Slote, Norfolk’s Director of Recreation.

Registration for swimming lessons and other aquatics programming at the Centre will open at noon on July 19, 2021 and may be completed online via NORA or by calling 519-426-5870 or 226-NORFOLK Ext. 2233.
