Separate recycling containers should be set-up for:

  • GLASS – glass bottles and jars
  • PAPER & BOXBOARD – household paper and boxboard
  • METAL & PLASTIC – food/beverage cans and aluminum foil, rigid plastic
  • NEWSPAPER – newspapers (and Catalogues, Magazines and Books)

Items That are Not Recyclable

Waxed paper, diapers, toys, motor oil, transmission or brake fluid containers, pesticides, herbicides, flammable liquids or corrosive material bottles, medical containers, light bulbs, window panes, drinking glasses or ceramics, old televisions or electronics, metal or plastic hangers, laundry hampers, and food waste.

Dispose of paint, batteries, cleaning fluids and other hazardous material at our Household Hazardous Waste Days, held in both the spring and fall.
