Officers investigate by-law complaints fairly and in a timely manner, working with residents and visitors to achieve compliance.

The accuracy of the information provided when reporting a by-law complaint can greatly assist in an investigation; please complete the fields below as accurately and thoroughly as possible. Once a complaint has been received, it is reviewed by the Bylaw Supervisor to determine the appropriate next steps. Norfolk County staff will maintain the confidentiality of the personal information you share when completing this Complaint form; however, please remember that Municipal Law Enforcement Officers may use this information to reach out to you to obtain additional details with respect to your complaint. In rare cases, a complainant may also be required to provide evidence as a witness in a future court proceeding open to the public.
