Project Description

The Gilbert Road Culvert located on Gilbert Road between Radical Road and Woolley Road is scheduled to be replaced.   See Attached Location Map.

 

The work will include the replacement of the existing culvert with a new twin concrete box culvert, guide rail installation, and associated road and asphalt restoration.

Information for the Public

Traffic Management

During construction, the road will be closed to through traffic and a detour will be set up using Woolley Road, Port Ryerse Road and Radical Road.  Access to properties will be maintained with local access only.

Garbage and Recycling

Garbage and recycling collection services will remain the same.  The contractor may need to pick up and relocate garbage and recycling bins to an accessible location for waste management pick up.  Please have your garbage and recycling roadside by 7:00 am the day of your regular collection schedule.  Municipal addresses should be labelled on all recycling bins so that they may be returned to the correct address.
