BLACK HISTORY MONTH

Canadians take this time to celebrate the many achievements and contributions of black Canadians who, throughout history, have done so much to make Canada the culturally diverse, compassionate and prosperous nation it is today.

15th – NATIONAL FLAG DAY
Flag Day in Canada commemorates the February 15 1965 inauguration of the Canadian national flag, which features a red maple leaf on a red and white background.

16th -20th – KIN CANADA WEEK
Kin Canada has been a vibrant, responsible, all-Canadian association of service clubs devoted to the concept of serving its communities throughout Canada since its founding in Hamilton, Ontario, on February 20, 1920. Kin Canada has been dedicated to meeting the needs of our community and has diligently sought the development and completion of timely, relevant programs to meet the needs and challenges of our ever-evolving society. Kin Canada is celebrating its 100th anniversary on February 20, 2020
