Ride Norfolk is set to launch a new schedule May 6, one that includes multiple trips to Brantford throughout the week.

The Brantford bus will operate three times per day Monday to Friday and will make stops in Waterford, Wilsonville, Oakland, and Mount Pleasant en route to the city’s downtown bus terminal. The schedule allows for easy transfers with Brantford’s GO Bus service.

Ride Norfolk’s Out of Town schedule will see a bus in Delhi three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Thursdays will feature a new route from Delhi to Port Dover. The upcoming schedule includes four out of town service routes per day, one more than the previous schedule. Two of these routes will offer riders the chance to head in the opposite direction from where they came.

A handful of new stops have been added to the Ride Norfolk slate, they include the Delhi Medical Centre, Delhi Friendship Centre, Waterford Medical Centre, and Harbour St. in Port Dover as well as service in Windham Centre and Tillsonburg. A small number of location changes have been made in Simcoe.

Ride Norfolk officials have hosted public information sessions at Norfolk County Public Library locations in Waterford, Port Dover, and Delhi. Another will take place in Simcoe Apr. 23 (10 a.m.-noon and 2-4 p.m.) and Port Rowan Apr. 25 (1-3 p.m.).
