Nov. 28 – Are you a team player? Do you enjoy working with children? Want to spend your summer by the lake? How about maintaining forests?

Norfolk County is currently hiring dozens of students in several different roles including marine attendant, camp leader, forestry crew, information technology, lifeguards, etc. for the 2020 summer season.

“We have a number of full-time staff who worked as students for Norfolk County,” said Erin Anderson, Norfolk’s Director of Human Resources. “The friends you meet and experience you gain are extremely valuable both in the short and long term.”

County jobs offer safety training, consistent hours and life experience. Positions exist in many locations, including Simcoe, Port Dover, Waterford, Port Rowan and Delhi among others.

Further instruction and a list of positions will be posted at norfolkcounty.ca/jobs on Dec. 2. The deadline to apply is Jan. 31. Interviews will be held in February. Please be advised that students must be returning to full-time studies in Sept. 2020.
