Norfolk County Paramedic Services presented certificates and “Save” pins – lifesaving action awards to four Norfolk County Firefighters from Station 8 Fairground.
This group of first responders attended a cardiac arrest call last October. Due to the quick response, skilled performance and dedication of our firefighters, and their assistance once Paramedics arrived scene, the patient was awake and talking before arriving at the hospital. This type of call typically has poor outcomes, particularly in rural areas.
Norfolk County is lucky to have these hardworking and dedicated individuals in our community!
