Norfolk County staff are updating their Economic Development Strategy and are looking for your input.

Residents and those who work in Norfolk County are encouraged to provide feedback on the Interim Recommendations for the Economic Development Strategy, which were presented to Norfolk County Council Feb. 19.

A digital survey can be found online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/strategynorfolk. The deadline for submissions is March 18.

The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. It covers a wide range of topics, including your thoughts on strategic direction, how to attract new residents and connecting the workforce to job opportunities.

Recommendations in the survey are based on feedback last summer and fall from Norfolk County residents and workers who provided 1,500 responses via online and paper surveys and those who attended ten roundtables.

Norfolk County periodically reviews its Economic Development Strategy. The current review commenced in June of 2018 and recommendations will be submitted in the spring of 2019. The development of a strategy is a process in which decisions are made about desired future results, how these results will be accomplished, and how success is measured, evaluated, and communicated to stakeholders.
