January 27, 2020, Simcoe, ON – A number of dynamic, trailblazing and locally-based entrepreneurs have been chosen to speak at the Norfolk County Economic Development Symposium February 13 in Simcoe.

Local Speakers Symposium 2020Jess Bommarito of Groundswell CoWorking, Anita Buehner of Bonnieheath Estate Lavender & Winery, Cam Carter of the Downtown Simcoe BIA, and Amanda Dooney and Susan Judd of Ride the Bine will share their successes and learning experiences as well as provide advice to new and young entrepreneurs at The Aud. The roster fits perfectly with the event theme of “Undeniably Norfolk”.

In addition, keynote speaker Shane Feldman will chronicle his research into community leadership and human behavior in over 20 countries, where he uncovered universal strategies that make towns click and businesses thrive. He is thrilled to share key insights to help increase our leadership capacity and impact.

As a media advisor to Annaliese Carr during her record-breaking open water swims, Feldman has a deep appreciation for Norfolk’s rich sense of community.

Registration for the Symposium is $60 per person plus HST, which includes lunch, networking opportunities, and a chance to explore the Made in Norfolk Showcase of goods manufactured locally.

The Entrepreneur of the Year will also be announced, as well as other award winners.
