December 9, 2019, Simcoe, ON – A ‘Pop-up Camp’ will be offered by Norfolk County Parks and Recreation in the event of teacher job action this week.
Should local schools be closed, Norfolk will provide a day camp Dec. 11 at the Simcoe Recreation Centre from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Participants from 4-13 will enjoy games, time with peers and a chance to burn energy while being led by a group of certified program leaders.
The cost is $39.75 per child. Registration can be completed in person at the Simcoe Recreation Centre, or by calling customer service at 519-426-5870 or 226-NORFOLK Ext. 2233. The barcode number is 34006.
Please keep in mind the camp will only be available in the event local schools are closed.
A family/public skate is also taking place on Wednesday at the Recreation Centre. The ice will be available from 9 – 10:30 a.m.
