The Norfolk Arts Centre presents their second annual Made in Norfolk Studio Show and Sale, running Mondays through Saturdays, from October 24 to November 26. The gallery space is transformed into a spectacular, one-of-a-kind gift shop, featuring hundreds of unique and reasonably-priced items made by artists and artisans living and working right here in Norfolk County.
“When you buy locally, your money stays in this community. Made in Norfolk offers our community the opportunity to support their local artists and artisans, and makes original artwork accessible to everyone – everything is priced from $5-200,” says Lisa Fraser, local artisan. Lisa’s handmade, repurposed scarves and bags were an enormous hit at our premiere event, and these will likely fly off the shelves just as quickly this year.
Do your part as you prepare for this year’s holiday season by giving back to the local community. Your support of local businesses, including artists and artisans, significantly impacts Norfolk County’s economic development. Visit this year and enjoy the “gift shop” format, featuring all new works for sale. Hurry in; once these one-of-a-kind works are gone, they’re gone.
