The Norfolk Arts Centre is offering a jam-packed creative schedule of drawing, painting, sculpting, mixed media and music, so delve into the world of fantastic art-making this summer. Take part in activities and art projects indoors as well as outdoors to get your artistic juices flowing. The Summer Arts Adventure Camp is located at the Lynnwood National Historic site, an inspiring, creative, and supportive setting for learners of all ages and abilities.
The Summer Arts Adventure Program begins July 3rd and runs until August 24th. Children can register for full days or half-days. The programs accommodate ages 5-10 or 6-12, as well as a week of morning music classes for babies and toddlers aged 0-36 months of age. Youth volunteer opportunities are also available.
Are your children fascinated by medieval knights and princesses? Join Kate Gillies for “A Day in the Knight,” where participants will create family crests, crowns and even castles. Or are your budding artists interested in the world of dreams? Leave your pillows at home to join Belinda Smith for “In Your Dreams”- a week of making dreams come to life in your imaginative hands. There are many workshops available this summer.
