SIMCOE, ON – NOVEMBER 10, 2016 – Norfolk County is undertaking the next phase of community engagement on the Official Plan Five Year Review. The Issues and Options Report is available at County offices, libraries and on the County website at www.norfolkcounty.ca/opr

What makes Norfolk a great place to live, work and visit?  How can we grow Norfolk by supporting agriculture, revitalizing downtown areas and encouraging tourism? How can we improve the quality of life and condition of our communities for all residents?  There are several ways you can join the conversation.

A survey asking for your input on issues and options is now available on the County web site at www.norfolkcounty.ca/opr

An informal drop-in open house is set for Wednesday, November 30th from 4 to 7 pm at the Polish Hall (234 Main Street Delhi). You won’t want to miss this event. Feel free to visit information stations to share your ideas on issues related to supporting agriculture, strengthening Norfolk’s downtowns, enhancing the design of neighbourhoods and commercial areas, promoting walking, cycling and wheeling, protecting our waterfront and natural heritage and encouraging tourism and job creation. Information will also be available on the County’s housing policy review.
