After School Art Program at the Norfolk Arts Centre
Are you looking for an after-school activity for your child? Look no further because the “After School Art Program” at the Norfolk Arts Centre is back! This program will run Tuesdays, November 6th to December 11th from 4:00 – 5:30 pm. In this 6 week course students will work with a variety of subject materials, with an emphasis on drawing and painting. This program will focus on the development of technical skills and individual creative style in a fun, care-free environment. This is the perfect class for students who want to improve their technical ability or simply enjoy engaging in creative activities.
This course will be led by local artist Sally Gable. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn from a professional artist and have a great hands-on art-making experience!
This program is available for children ages 6 – 12. The cost of this 6 week program is $60 (10% discount for NAC members); materials will be provided by the Norfolk Arts Centre. At this price, this program just cannot be beat!

PA Day Fiest with Frida and Diego
On November 16th join local artist Sally Gable at the Norfolk Arts Centre for “Fiesta with Frida and Diego”! Children will learn about the work of Mexican artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, two of Mexico’s most famous and important artists. Participants will spend a fun-filled day making Mexican inspired arts and crafts. Come explore the colourful world of Mexican art and culture!
This program is available for children ages 6 – 12. Fee is $30 (10% discount for NAC members).
Sally Gable is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art specializing in drawing, painting and photography. Born and raised in Simcoe, Sally has strong attachments to the local landscape. This can be seen throughout her artworks which often take their inspiration from nature.
