Recreation Facility Review
Throughout the fall of 2017 the Recreation Facility Input Sub-Committee has held town hall meetings at communities throughout Norfolk County. These meetings were very well attended and resulted in valuable input and insights from local citizens. Norfolk County wishes to keep this dialogue ongoing and would appreciate if you took the time to fill out the following:
While the town hall meetings of the Recreation Facility Input Sub-Committee conclude in the Fall of 2017 there still is a significant amount of work to be done. Council has already approved $50,000 towards the hiring of a consultant to perform a needs assessment for the municipality. Once hired this consultant will review and present options to Council that will be considered alongside the public input received upon this important issue. While no timelines have been established for this stage it is reasonable to assume the hiring and work of the consultant will take several months or more.
A meeting date has been set for the Recreation Facilities Input Committee on November 30th, 2017
1pm – 3pm @ Talbot Gardens Arena Meeting Room
to review input received to date and discuss next steps.
All committee meetings are open to the public.
