Environmental Impact Study
Under the Provincial Policy Statement (PPS) development or site alteration in natural hazard lands, and significant natural heritage areas can only occur if shown through an Environmental Impact Study (EIS) that the proposed development will have no negative impacts on the natural environment. The EIS provides information on potential impacts to enable planners and politicians to make informed decisions on whether the proposal meets the intent and policies of the municipal official plans and the PPS.

Servicing Monitoring Norfolk County 2008
The purpose of this report is to provide Norfolk County Council and interested parties with information on the state of municipal water and sewerage capacities for each of the 6 urban areas, and St. Williams. Particularly, this report provides historic, current, and forecasted data related to urban service capacities; the status of available water and sewerage capacity for future development; and land development activity occurring within the urban areas. Regular reports of this kind are important to ensure that the provision of water and sewerage services in the urban areas keep up with the demand.
