Ward Boundary Changes

As approved by Norfolk County Council in 2015 some electors in Wards 2, 4 and 6 will be voting within new boundaries. The changes to ward boundaries were required to ensure fair and balanced electoral representation. To briefly summarize significant population growth in Port Dover required that the geographical area of that ward shrunk, similarly the geographical areas of wards 2 and 4 was required to be expanded to encompass more voters. The intent being that each Council Member represents roughly the same amount of voters.

The revised Wards are mapped below and should serve the municipality for several elections before requiring further review.
